The Volunteer Services Department at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s provides support to the entire organization and hospital community. Volunteers serve in a variety of roles, all of which are instrumental in delivering quality care and services to the patients and families that we serve. Complimentary meal ticket redeemable in the cafeteria during volunteer shifts at the Main Hospital. Phoenix Children’s Hospital

Volunteering

The Volunteer Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital has a variety of opportunities. For all interested in volunteering in a hospital environment. As a proactive step to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community, we have paused onsite volunteering at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Our priority will be to have our current volunteers return safely sometime in 2021. Until then we have suspended the acceptance and processing of new volunteer applications. We appreciate everything volunteers do for our patients, guests and staff. We look forward to welcoming volunteers back and will update our website when the volunteer restrictions are lifted.

Kids’ Book Bank Cleveland

We welcome your donation of new or gently-used children’s books! Whether you have a few books or a few boxes, we’ll get them to local kids who need them. We ask that you only donate children’s books in good condition with the latest copyright no earlier than 2000. Books can be dropped off at our MidTown Cleveland warehouse Tuesday – Friday between 9am and 3pm. Please call us at 216-417-1803 when you arrive for a non-contact drop-off. Or, you can deposit books in one of our outdoor collection bins.
