The Volunteer Services Department at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s provides support to the entire organization and hospital community. Volunteers serve in a variety of roles, all of which are instrumental in delivering quality care and services to the patients and families that we serve. Complimentary meal ticket redeemable in the cafeteria during volunteer shifts at the Main Hospital. Phoenix Children’s Hospital
Whether engaging with patients in our playrooms, assisting in our in-hospital school, or helping families find their way around the hospital campus, Phoenix Children’s In-Hospital volunteers help provide hope, healing and care for patients and their families. Animal-Assisted Therapy is always looking for volunteers with or without a pet, and the Phoenix Children’s Community Volunteer program provides various ways to participate both at the hospital and throughout the community. Children’s Minnesota
As a volunteer at Children’s Minnesota, you’ll be part of the team that is privileged to care for the most amazing people on earth. From reading books to patients and their siblings to helping out at a fundraiser, you’ll provide crucial support to our patients, families and staff. Volunteering
The Volunteer Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital has a variety of opportunities. For all interested in volunteering in a hospital environment. As a proactive step to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community, we have paused onsite volunteering at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Our priority will be to have our current volunteers return safely sometime in 2021. Until then we have suspended the acceptance and processing of new volunteer applications. We appreciate everything volunteers do for our patients, guests and staff. We look forward to welcoming volunteers back and will update our website when the volunteer restrictions are lifted.
Providing Volunteer CASAs to Foster Children
Voices for Children transforms the lives of abused children by providing them with volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates. National CASA/GAL Association for Children
We are a national cause with 96,929 of the most dedicated volunteers out there. Court-appointed special advocate and guardian ad litem volunteers make a life-changing difference for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Each volunteer is appointed by a judge to advocate for a child’s best interest in court. Our volunteers help judges develop a fuller picture of each child’s life. Kids’ Book Bank Cleveland
We welcome your donation of new or gently-used children’s books! Whether you have a few books or a few boxes, we’ll get them to local kids who need them. We ask that you only donate children’s books in good condition with the latest copyright no earlier than 2000. Books can be dropped off at our MidTown Cleveland warehouse Tuesday – Friday between 9am and 3pm. Please call us at 216-417-1803 when you arrive for a non-contact drop-off. Or, you can deposit books in one of our outdoor collection bins.
